New information comes first…always!
We want to say a big "Thank You" to all who participated in our 20/20 event in March. It was a roaring success and we cannot say just how much we appreciated your support!
It was an incredible day.
We just got in an order from Schacht and there is one Cherry Matchless available. These wheels are limited edition and very beautiful--and they spin wonderfully.
If you are interested, act fast, it will not last long!We are thoroughly enjoying these warmer April days; gardening and outdoor activities are becoming more commonplace. But that does not mean we should put away our yarn crafts! Not at all! Let's just switch a bit and start making those warm weather items--you know, tank tops, lace camisoles, cotton socks, etc. Or, those funky, ruffled scarves that the yarn is so hard to keep in stock--we have just a bit more of it on the way. We are thankful for every little bit we can get a hold of.
It is in such demand!
We have just one class going on this month from this point on. NUNO scarves were last Saturday, we are sorry if you missed out, we will be scheduling them again! For May, for your crafting enjoyment, try out our Spinning with Sue-Ann, knitting a tank from the top down, or playing in the dye pots. Check out the schedule below.
We have put together a gift registry for you and for those who will be gifting to you. Come in and fill it out, or, fill it out and email it back to us, and we will keep it on file and update it as the situation requires—adding to it or removing from it when your desires are met!
Okay, you’ve learned how to cast on, bind off, knit, purl and sew a basic seam—now you are ready to move on to something more challenging. Abigail is a sweet little sweater knitted from the top down, with cap sleeves that can be lengthened for winter wear, or left alone for those warmer days ahead that you know will be coming. Knitted in medium weight yarn, this little sweater is a real charmer; you’ll want one in several colors.
5 Sessions
April 11, 25 and May 9 2012 6-8 p.m.
Cost $50.00 includes pattern. Yarn and needles sold separately.
Dyeing is an integral part of knitting, crocheting and spinning. Most of us prefer to work with colorful yarns, whether they are dyed naturally or helped out a little bit along the way. This workshop lets you be the artist! We will dye two hanks of natural colored felting yarn. You choose the colors--keep them the same or make them different. They can be soft hues, or outrageous shades--we'll provide the yarn and dyes,
you provide the imagination!

Always a popular class, our spinning with Sue-Ann will get you on the right track to spinning yarn. Learn about the wheel, types of fibers, and spinning basics. If you have already started spinning and want a refresher, this class will be of immense help for you as well. You don't need your own wheel, but if you have one and want to bring it, that is encouraged. Cost of the class includes spinning fiber and the use of the wheel during class time. A limited number of wheels are available for rent on a monthly basis.

Gypsy--a Tank Top knitted from the top down!
This is a great little tank, cleverly knitted from the top down. Use a DK weight of yarn, I chose Cascade Ultra Pima for mine, and make one or several up for the summer season. For business dressing, you can layer it under a suit jacket and wear it year round!
